Sagittarius constantly seeks and craves to get out there and experience life. They often love sport as a competitor or as a spectator. They have often travelled extensively, planning to travel or they are still living out of suitcases and sleeping in hotels. They do not stay home for long and they often sleep in more than one place over any one week. Sagittarius is a sign that needs to live life through a philosophical, spiritual/religious or sporting belief system. They need to feel that life has meaning and they seek to find and understand that meaning or they need to feel like they are part of something big with common beliefs and aims. They will often want to share this knowledge and understanding with others; as a formal or informal teacher, as the tradesman training the apprentice, as a teacher to their children, as the coach, through public speaking or even extensive comments on Social Media Platforms. Whichever way that Sagittarius goes about it, they have a strong will to share the knowledge they have learnt; others will look to them for guidance and instruction, for a story with the lesson, for a philosophic view in the bigger picture for these are the gifts given to and by Sagittarius energy.

Sagittarius is often in the "know" and up to date on the latest trend, fad, fashion, or new technology. They have always got their head in a book, magazine, journal, newspaper, their phone or the Web. They often have many and extensive people in their social and career networks. They are always out seeing people and doing things, they hear things from others and are often in the “know” and they so like being the first to know. They have an enthusiasm for life that is infectious, if you want to rev up a room put Sagittarius there! They love a good party, a bit of excitement, some boredom busting, a little bit of naughty harmless fun and they are not beyond a prank or two to get a laugh!

Sagittarius is the far seeing one who has the adept ability to forecast what is to come - but it's all about the knowledge and how they apply it. Sagittarius is constantly running a plan of some sort. They run a loose plan which depends greatly on how things go on a daily level, as they are very prone to distraction and being led at times up the garden path to a dead end. They see this to be as much of a learning experience as anything else, it does not deter them; indeed they feel that it has informed them. Whilst everyone around them thinks they pull rabbits out of hats, Sagittarius knows how much foot work and airline tickets it actually takes to bring about the apparent miracles that they create. Sagittarius knows better than anybody that if you want it, you have to go out and get it and the more people you know and the more ground that you cover the more chance there is that it will happen. They don’t get the luck they make the luck!

Sagittarius not only makes their own luck, they just do not expect things to go wrong, it just doesn’t enter their mind and they always know someone to help if a challenge comes up. Rough terrain only requires the right equipment and training. Sagittarius teaches us that if you want it bad enough and train for it you will get it. They have positive energy to the point of blindness at times but they always fall on their feet. If they don’t fall on their feet, they generally have an attitude of having learnt a valuable lesson. The “why me” mentality is generally something Sagittarius is impatient with.

Due to their extraordinary capacity to store information, apply theories and produce practice models these people often lurk in university corridors, bookshops, meetings and conferences.  As trades people, professionals or semi-skilled workers Sagittarius has the extraordinary ability to inspire others with their optimistic attitude. They can gather all the information together efficiently and quickly. In all walks of life we find Sagittarius sharing the knowledge with someone or inspiring others just to get out there and give it a go! There are no failures with Sagittarius energy and hurdles are good exercise after all!
